To ensure a memorable and unforgettable African hunting and safari experience, Lianga Safaris consider the needs and wishes of every hunter, and can customize the safari to your preferences.
We specialize in rifle and bow hunting, seeking plains game, and dangerous game around South Africa, but predominantly hunt in the Limpopo and Northern Cape Provinces.
Our well experienced and professional hunters are dedicated to ensuring a memorable and rewarding African Safari experience.
Lianga Safaris is easily accessible from O.R Tambo international and a mere 80km from Polokwane.
Lianga Safaris is a family friendly hunting and safari destination, offering high quality wildlife, exquisite true African cuisine and clean comfortable lodging. We offer a whole lot to the observer in our day trips.
These trips include places like Kruger Park, wildlife rehabilitation centers, endangered wildlife breeding projects, curio shops etc.
Your family and friends can enjoy activities like walking with lions or tree top swinging over waterfalls and streams in the magical Magoebaskloof area. They can also experience exciting sundowner horseback out-rides or just visit gift shops in the beautiful, small town of Haenertsburg.
Visit Venda cultural villages or just enjoy a lazy day next to the swimming pool with a cold beverage.

Our Lodge

Our lodge imbues a beautiful feeling of comfort, and you shall feel at home from the first moment you arrive.
Our lodge is not just home to our hunting guests alone, but also to your accompanying family and friends who wish to stay as non-hunting guests and can enjoy their day by relaxing next to the swimming pool or making day trips to the many adventures we have to offer. Your observer friends or family are welcome to join you while you are hunting at no extra cost.
Whats the weather like?
Our hunting season is between March and October.
June and July are our mid-winter, and temperatures are pleasant with little to no rain.
- March to May is our fall (Lows between 40°F – 50°F) – (Highs between 70°F – 75°F)
- June to August is our winter (Lows between 40°F – 50°F) – (Highs between 60°F – 70°F)
- September to October is our spring (Lows between 60°F – 70°F) – (Highs between 80°F – 100°F)

I am a skilled tracker and dedicated professional hunter that found my passion at a very young age when I was introduced to hunting by my father, who had an exceptional love for nature.
Being a professional hunter since 2006 has helped me gain experience to a great extent in the hunting industry; hunters from across the world will agree that I am not your average outfitter and professional hunter and will go to great extents to make sure you hunt the best trophy animals and experience an unforgettable safari in our beautiful African bushveld.
There are no guarantees when hunting, but I can assure you that spending time with us on your hunting and/or photo safari will make you plan your next trip with us before you leave.
My passion is shared by my wife, Annette and my two children, Herman Jnr and Michelle.
We are not just a family, but also a team that strives for excellence in what we do.
Annette is an avid hunter herself and a professional hunter, that supports and shares my passion.

With a deep love for nature and knowledge of South Africa’s wildlife, she is, without a doubt, the best companion on any photo safari.
